- While now focusing on Macintosh as well as Apple II information,
Call-A.P.P.L.E. is celebrating the 25th anniversary of it's publication.
Distributed in .pdf format, the anniversary issue is available for
subscription members at: http://www.callapple.org/ Previous issues of the
publication are available for free downloading from the website.

- Apple II users have found problems getting newer PowerMacs to format and
copy ProDOS disks using Apple's DiskCopy utility, both to 800k or 1.44meg
disks. Unconfirmed reports state that an alternative utility has been
found that doesn't have the ProDOS limitation: DiskDup+ 2.9.2 has been
tested by several people and it appears to work with newer Macintosh
machines. The program is now available for all to download from:
http://garberstreet.netfirms.com/Downloads.html Since these results are
unconfirmed, use is at the individual's own risk, and testing on your
setup is advised prior to relying on this program.

- FishWings, a Windows utility for viewing, importing and exporting files
between a ProDOS image file and a Windows file has been upgraded to
version 0.85. Apple II emulation users who use a Windows machine may find
this utility handy, and can download the latest version at:
http://www3.bboard.com/charlied/fishwings.htm

- KEGS-OSX has been updated and and is now available for download.
KEGS-OSX is an Apple IIGS emulator that runs under a variety of Unix
operating systems, and is available for use under Mac OSX. The latest
version even includes an emulated ZipGS running at 8 MHz. More
information and file downloading can be found at: http://www.CasaGS.net

- Rich Dreher has reported that all the parts previously ordered are in,
and the manufacturing house will shortly start it's production of the
CompactFlash For Apple II cards. Rich will be accepting orders soon for
this 2nd run: at last posting over 80 people have reserved cards. More
information on the CFFA can be found at: http://dreher.net/CFforAppleII
